Every year our family makes the long drive from our home in Austin, Texas to Topsail beach, North Carolina. There, we spend an amazing 7 days with family in a beautiful beach house. It is a week full of fun, sun, and lots of love.

Of course the kids had to go down to the beach the moment we arrived. Lillie and her cousin were so excited + instantly inseparable.
We were blessed with the most amazing golden hour ever <3 I was in photographer heaven, the kids were in kid heaven.

After a long day in the sun the crew relaxes on the top deck, checking out the sites.

Wow, Paige–this blog post has some awesome photos in it. You’ve really captured what we west-coasters think of as the beach lifestyle along the Atlantic seaboard! Ya’ll got some crazy-looking surf fish over there, and the sun sets and rises on the “wrong side” of the horizon over there, but…hey…THIS IS EXACTLY THE WAY I would want my imaginary North Carolina beach week to be…JUST like this!
