For this month’s “Where We Live”  project I took the kids to the most awesome toy store ever. Terra Toys is a locally owned and totally amazing toy store. I literally walk around in awe…anything you could ever want, and of course everything you didn’t even know you wanted is in this store. And the best part? They have play displays throughout the place. You can ride their trikes, play with the dollhouse, or pull up a chair in the book section. My kids only agreed to leave with the promise of a return visit.

The kids are really into monsters + dragons, so when they found this huge display they immediately started a fire breathing dragon war. Their rawring could be heard at every corner of the store, and Lillian picked her favorite blue dragon to come home with us. He is her new best friend.

Is this heaven? It may as well be for Noah when he saw the ginormous collection of cars + trucks +vans.

Of course we couldn’t leave without reading a book in the awesome library area.

I think it is safe to say that my kids would be happy to move into Terra Toys…permanently. I am so thankful to live in a city full of so many wonderful, locally owned places. Buy local!!
