Welcome to Austin, the city where we live. Every month I will be featuring a post about our beautiful city that I love so much. I think it may be the best city ever, and I can’t wait to show it to  you!! For my first blog post , Noah and I headed to Butler Park. It’s very close to Lillian’s Preschool and we spend a lot of time here exploring.  We had just finished taking some photos behind a shaded wall and were getting back into the car when I noticed the interesting light.  I snapped this photo one handed, while putting Noah into the car and holding my rottweiler’s leash. Multitasking anyone?

The Liz Carpenter Fountain, a popular splash-pad on warmer days, has beautiful views of the city.

We found this tree struck by the lightning storm that the kids had been enjoying the night before.

After leaving butler park we headed to Whole Foods Market to play on the rooftop playground. To our surprise they had this awesome spaceship structure.
